Introduction

A tachometer is a device that measures the speed of rotation axis, usually speed shift of a Motor. Is measured in rfm(revs for minute), this instrument is used to measure the speed of rotation crankshaft engine. There are two types of tachometers: mechanical and electrical. In aircraft with propeller fixed pitch, the power control is done with tachometer. (C.-172: in shooting, typically select between 1000 and 1200 rfm.)
